🛕 About the Temple

The Katyayani Shaktipeeth Temple in Vrindavan is a sacred shrine dedicated to Goddess Katyayani, a revered form of Shakti (Mother Goddess). It is believed that this site is one of the Shakti Peeths linked to Goddess Sati’s mythology and holds deep spiritual significance for devotees of Krishna and the Divine Mother.

The temple is also known locally as Uma Shakti Peeth because Goddess Katyayani is worshipped here along with reverence as Uma (Parvati).
